Acton SC is a member of our district, PHSA, and therefore a member of OSA. It follows that the club employs the Discipline Processes of the OSA. It is the PLAYER'S responsibility to know the rules of the game and to abide by them. It is the responsibility of ALL attending a Game, or otherwise involved with the game, to know and abide by the applicable "Code of Conduct".

The Discipline Process applies to registrants - players, coaches, referees, club officials - while involved in soccer activities relevant to their role. The Club Discipline process applies to matters under the jursidiction of Acton SC - which are our Club Leagues and matters delegated by other leagues for the Club to deal with. Specifically:

  • Adult Indoor (Mens, Women, Co-Ed)
  • Gerry Hat-Tricks
  • Mens House League
  • Youth Outdoor Mini-Soccer (Under-5 to Under-10 inclusive)

Discipline for other activities falls under the leagues involved.

Youth Outdoor Recreational Under-12 / Under-14 - Escarpment Soccer League
Youth Outdoor Recreational Under-16 / Under-18 - North Peel-Halton Soccer League
Youth Competitive - SRSL, PHSSL, or other applicable league,.
Ladies Recreational - Ladies Recreational Soccer League (LRSL)
Mens Recreational - Inter-County Soccer League

Breaches of the Code of Conduct by non-registrants (usually spectators at games) will be handled by the Club UNLESS the league or other authority has jurisdiction.


Discipline Hearings for the Club are scheduled as follows:

  1. Outdoor Soccer (May-September inclusive)

    Fridays, 7:00pm, at the Club Office in the Dufferin Rural Heritage Community Centre (the Indoor Soccer Building in Prospect Park), 30 Park Avenue, Acton.

  2. Indoor Soccer (October to April inclusive)

    Sundays, 1:00pm, at the Club Office in the Dufferin Rural Heritage Community Centre (the Indoor Soccer Building in Prospect Park), 30 Park Avenue, Acton.
  • Notification to attend a Hearing will be by email to the registrants email address used during the on-line registration process. Team Captain or Coach (as applicable) will also be informed and the Club may make phone contact if thought appropriate.
  • Results of Discipline by Review will be notified to the Registrant and Coach/Captain in the same way.
  • Players and coaches must realize that a red card in a game means an AUTOMATIC ban for the following game.
  • Request for a hearing (made within 3 days of dismissal) --> $0
  • Request to reschedule a hearing (prior notice) --> $0
  • Request for a hearing if no-show at original hearing --> $100
  • Hearing Administrative Fee (payable only if guilty/DBH) --> $0
  • Hearing Administrative Fee (payable only if guilty/DBR) --> $0
